This is to help you travel smart.
You might not feel the cost of travelling if you are travelling alone or a couple, but if you are a family, THIS helps alot.
The map below is where most of the must visit are located.

As you can see, the mid point is in between Jongno 3(sam)-ga and Euljiro 3(sam)-ga.
* My very first tip, find an accommodation in between Jongno 3(sam)-ga and Euljiro 3(sam)-ga.
As you are in the center of downtown, now you can just walk and not take the subway.
Day 1 : Walk to City Hall > Gwanghwamun Square > Gyeongbokgung Palace > Bukcheon Hanok Village > Insadong
Day 2 : Walk to Jongmyo Shrine > Changdeokgung Palace (Secret Garden) > Hyehwa > Naksan Park (Seoul Fortress and wall art) > Dongdaemun
Day 3 : Shopping day :) Walk to Myeongdong > Namdaemun > Seoul Tower (I recon just before sunset, so you could see day and night view)
Day 4 : There is nothing much in that area, besides Korea House. You can take the subway if you are thinking of going to Nami Island. I would recon you to leave early then head to the Rail Park nearby.
