HOW TO GREET A KOREAN (안녕하세요)

When meeting a Korean, especially someone elder than you, never hug or shake hands. Well shaking hands is acceptable but use both hands.

Shaking or waving hands is getting more common among youngsters though.

The right way to greet someone would be bowing. If one is elder than you, you should bow lower then them and greet 안녕하세요(an nyeong ha se yo)
